I think to run a McDonalds franchise Experience, skills and investment are most important things.

Hi guys, although, I'm new to this forum, yet I would love to participate in such sort of healthy discussions. Well, as far as my personal opinion about business and education is concerned, I would simply say that degree is a gateway or key to open the door and business involves processes to make yourself successful. College degree just gives you the comprehension of good and bad and makes you a sensible person, whereas, a business needs your hard work, commitment, communication and negotiation skills and those things that are involved in a business.

Yes I agree with Cathy. Education is important to make you sensible so that you can differentiate between good and bad and it also shows you a way to success. And business is what you do to reach there. Both are important but as far as the question of thread starter is concerned, I don't think you need any certificate or business background to buy the McD's franchise. You just have to pay the huge fees for it.
