| | Kentucky Fried Chicken
Colonel Harland Sanders' secret chicken recipe of eleven herbs and spices had come a long way since the 1950s. KFC now offers a variety of menu items which includes lower fat, lower calorie choices.
I would say that Yum! Brands, Inc. really boost its sales and franchising business. In my country alone (Philippines), we have over 82 KFC stores.

| | Re: Kentucky Fried Chicken I love their gravy and they are the original ones to offer the free gravy refill here in the Philippines. It is also a good alternative franchise over McDonalds. But how much difference in investment would it take for a KFC franchise over McDonalds? |

I am not really sure but based on popularity and instincts, I would say that McDonald's would require a bigger investment compared to KFC. But both stores would be a really good investment. Investment-wise however, I'd say, choose KFC.

I don't know how McDonald's started, but I do admire KFC and would choose a KFC franchise over a McDonald's one given the opportunity because of the fact that Col Sanders had humble beginnings, and even when he sold his first franchise, his primary concern was really the quality of the chicken. I only pity KFC for being on the receiving end of internet spam about their supposed genetically-modified chickens.

Their food always tastes fresher and I love their chicken salt!
They have great training programs for their staff too!

| | Re: Kentucky Fried Chicken KFC is one of the fastest growing fast-food restaurants in the Philippines. It is under the corporate name Quick Service Restaurants. Personally, I love KFC. I just hope to get a reliable source about its franchising information. Anyway, do you guys remember KFC's slogan - Kapag Fried Chicken, KFC? For the filipinos reading this, I hope you do remember. But of course, what you will never forget is its infamous internation slogan, "Finger lickin' good!"

The spices they use are really unique. It goes great with the gravy. When the first KFC branch opened in our place, I got addicted to the popular Hot Shots. Ever since, I've been enjoying spicy foods, more and more.

Kentucky fried chicken recipe, with a mix of spices, and a cripy result. ... FOR this Kentucky fried chicken recipe, you can use lard, crisco (shortening), or one of the vegetable oils. You can also add butter, if you choose, skimming off any foam that rises to the top while heating the oil.
