Well maybe not grounds for dismissal.. he'll probably be reprimanded, get a warning, that sort of thing. If he had actually thrown the coffee at you - yeah definitely grounds for dismissal. But his attitude should better shape up or he'll be losing his job.

He could be fired for using profanity but who knows. Just make sure to complain to the district manager.

that was rude of him. That could be ground for termination but it all depends on the manager

They will look at his record . If this a repeat offence He may be fired..Its hard to get rid of someone now. In Vancouver BC. A bus driver spit on a passenger that had spit on him. The case is under review. the whole thing was on TV

Absolutely, but i perfer you call the manager or the territory manager(the manger in charge of the manager of that store). Or you can call the 1-800 # and tell them. E-mails take from weeks to months until they take action.

Being rude to a customer in any shape or fashion SHOULD be a cause for termination - even when prompted. (and you didn't)You should talk to the store manager and discuss the issue. Then, drop it. It is NOT worth wasting your time. Pick a different store if you want donuts again.

First, real men only have 2 kinds of coffee, regular and decaf. If I worked at a coffee or donut shop and some guy ordered a tall skinny mocha latte with whipped cream and cinnamon sprinkles or whatever it is you ordered I would be pissed too. I have to side with him on this. You also lose your man card.

This guy is obviously very troubled. His biggest punishment is that he clearly doesn't like himself and is not a happy person, or he wouldn't have behaved like that. You did the right thing, you were having a nice day out with your friends, and he should not have spoken to you that way. Any satisfaction you get should be out of the fact that you are a happy person and he is a miserable git. Even if he keeps the job he may well still be a miserable git.
