Default I had an unpleasant incident with a Dunkin Donuts drive thru cashier. Are these

grounds for termination? I went to dunkin donuts with my sister and our friend. I told her a funny story about how my mom made me go bike riding one day and worked me so hard that when I got back I threw up, so we were all laughing, then we ordered 2 ice coffees and a strawberry collatta. I had my gift card with only 60 cents on it, so we gave the cashier a 20 dollar bill aswell. We almost thought that none of us had any money which we also found funny and it made us laugh. (the laughing will be important later on lol) So, he hands me the collatta but it has no whip cream on it, and my sister ordered whip cream for it so I sent it back, which made them laugh also (because its kinda funny to send back something from dunkin donuts like its an undercooked steak or something) So, then the cashier handed me back my change, and I asked for my card back because I collect old gift cards and sample credit cards, and my sister and our friend again, laugh because it was funny that I was asking for this card back. So, then the guy gives me my card, and hands me the collatta and says " Is something funny?" And I look at him to see if he was talking to me, and saw that he was, so I said "What??!!!?" Then he says "I said is something funny? Because I'm really not in the mood..." SO then I say "Yes actually, something is funny but it is not about you..." so then he cuts me off and says "no im SERIOUSLY not in the Fuc*ing mood today, Like these coffees can end up in your face right now" So i take the first coffee from him so he dosen't throw it at me, so then I say "You know, I'm serioulsy not laughing at you at all. We were having a private conversation and it was none of your business as to why we were laughing..." and he hands me the 2nd coffee. then I continue saying "But we are laughing at you now because you just made a complete fool out of yourself.. You seriously need to relax" then I told my friend to count the change he gave back right in front of her LOL when it was good, we left. So, I would like to know -- are these grounds that he can be terminated on?? I already sent an E-mail using dunkin donut's website under "in-store incident" or something, but I am just wondering if they will take the actions to terminate his employment, and what I would need to do to ensure that this happens. ThanksIm hoping for someone who is a dunkin donuts superviser or someone to answer but if you would like to answer with your comments I would also like to read those lol I'll probalby reply to them too so check backDoobie, the point is I was not making fun of him in ANY way. I was with my sister and my friends, we were in a laughy mood -- I had just told her a funny story, and we were still laughing from it, I was not laughing at him, we were laughing at OURSELVES because of what we did. and this guy takes it like we are laughing at him. please read more carefully next time.Lore, tell me how I am being the jerk!!!! I was in NO way whatsoever being a dick to this guy at ALL!!! I was just laughing with my sister and friend!!! We do this ALL the time, they laugh at me because honestly I act funny in public. I was not being mean to this guy at all.And i work at briarwood continuing care in Worcester MA. Its a retirment home, im a waitor. Please come do this to me, I would ****ing laugh. and all my friends there would give you hell.John Y, you are an IDIOT!! I ordered an ICE COFFEE. it is COFFEE with ICE!!! and cream and sugar. I didn't get what ever you made up me getting... my sister got a strawberry collatta with whip cream and I don't even know where you saw cinnamon in my question. Grow up and stop making "real men" rules. People who say "real me only..." phrases are just insecure about their own masculinity. People like you need to live their lives by these "real men..." rules just so they think they are more manly. Stop. its lame, your not fooling anyone.and treonbar…I don't see how anyone could expect me to be anywhere near to KIND to this man!!! I will admit, I am the type of person who NEEDS to have people know that they are wrong when they do something that really is bad. this guy flipped out on me for NO reason. He needs to know that he should not have done that. And no, the cashier was not a foreigner. He is White; one of those white punks who dresses ghetto and carries a drug addiction with 3 kids from high school, which he probably dropped out of.He did not own the joint, he was like 16Lisa E, I was in my car in the drive thru. I was not disturbing anybody except him I guess. But he should not have been bothered, it was wrong of him.mld_publ, i was TALKING and Laughing with my sister and friend!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHY is that being a dick? i was NOT laughing at the drive thru guy!!!!!ann m -- I was not being rude to him in any way!!!! Why should I need to stop talking with my friends while I am in a DRIVE THRU????? It was not foolishness, it was NORMAL CONVERSATION that happened to be FUNNY!!! When you go through a drive thru do you STOP conversation with whoever you are with and sit there with your napkin folded on your lap?? I don't think so, I'm not going to act like im in a 5 star restaurant when im in a DRIVE TRHU, im sorry.well sandy d, thanks but im not going to sit there and take his attitude bending over. I need to tell him that he is wrong, and prove it to him. And honestly, there are only 2 employees at that place and 2 people from my school both work there, and when they do, one is in my grade, (senior) and one is 1 grade below me. I'm sure that the other person who was working with him didn't have as much authority as the other person did.I meant 2 employees working at a time.

I think cursing at and threatening customers should be grounds for termination.

Why did you feel the need to make fun of the Dunkin' Donuts guy? He was just trying to earn an honest dollar. He could be out robing your house...

He could be fired but then again there are so few people out there willing to work for little pay he may not.

I would hope so. That was rude of him. If you were disturbing other guests by acting up in the store...I could see him asking you to leave, but that doesn't seem to be the case, not to mention...he has NO reason to EVER swear at a customer. Don't dwell on it though. You told the proper people. That's all you can do.

The employee you mentioned has got some problems and needs some further training in customer service. However you yourself should just forget about it and move on. You informed the company and that is enough.

It sounds to me like you're kind of a jerk...and maybe you should tell me where you work so I can go and do that to you. In fact, I say all of us on yahoo go and bother you at work - wouldn't THAT be funny?

I don't think he'd get fired over that unfortunately though that was extremely uncalled for on his part. More than likely he will only get a warning from his manager. Had he thrown that drink at you or your sister he would have been fired on the spot. Good luck, that sounds really frustrating.
