Its a little early to throw Melky Cabrera into any stat catagory. He's still a patch for Yankee problems, and can't get the playing time he should. Gotta go with Wright. He's a well rounded player, and a good leader with good stats to match.

Wow, good question.Cabrera is a better hitter, that much is clear. Wright, however, seems to provide a more positive presence. If push came to shove, I'd take Wright. Except in fantasy baseball. :-)

Cabrera is a freak of nature and has put up some insane numbers for a guy who is still as young as he is. I would go with him, but either would make me cream my jeans!

David Wright all the way. The put up comparable offensive numbers. However, Miguel Cabrera is a very lazy, unmotivated player. He doesnt work, hard, he has a bad attitude and he is disliked by most of his teammates (i.e. the fight in the dugout with Scott Olsen at Shea Stadium last year) D-Wright is the complete opposite, hard working, he hustles, he's a young leader on the Mets.

David Wright. In Offense they're pretty even, but Wright's a better defensive player.

Both have amazing talent and potential, but i would rather have David Wright. Wright has exceptional bat speed and power to all fields as does Cabrera, but I think Wright has more power. Wright is also a better fielder in my opinion. That bear handed diving catch over the shoulder he made a few years ago was amazing, like nothing i've ever seen before. Wright is more reliable that Cabrera in my opinion.
