I like the little joint versus the franchise. I despised those mcdonald's commercials a year or so ago that made fun of the small old Jewish deli owner for seeming to imply that if food isn't made by 18 yr olds in paper hats and red polo shirts, it can't be authentic. Of course, just the opposite is closer to the truth. But mcdonald's can't really draw on that card -- the authenticity of their food -- so they twisted the truth and tried to sell that.
