I would assume it has to be a baseball team, given the number of games they play every season and the age of their leagues.
In that case, it would be the San Francisco (formerly NY) Giants, who are the only franchise in history over 10,000 wins. The Yankees have "only" 9,300 wins, but the Giants have the advantage of having played in the NL for 25 years before the Yankees came into existence.
