Can I Impress Franchise-Hotel Managers With My Resume In Person Instead Of Applying
On-line With The Company? QUESTION: Many Large Franchise-Hotels want prospect employees to apply for jobs by completing an automatic application that is usually provided on their corporate or international websites. Would delivering my resume directly to a specific location; through the mail, or in person, make any difference in the chances I will receive an interview or job offer?
DETAILS: I am 20 years old and studying Hospitality Management in school part-time. I love the hospitality field. I think it is an industry that will reward its hardworking and dependable employees with promotions or opportunities to grow with the company. I am looking for a full-time Guest Services/ Front Desk position in a hotel. I have nearly 5 years customer service experience; and many other outstanding skills that the online App. doesn't discuss. I know my strong attributes will stand out to employers, especially if I could provide my resume and cover letter directly. Does any one have an opinions on the best way to apply?
