I believe that only certain merchandise may be provided using vending machines. I believe that items with moisture might damage most vending machines; thus, lead to regular maintenace costs.

The way I see it you are going to have regular maintenance costs anyway if you go with a vending machine business. People abuse stuff like that and you are always going to be the one to have to make sure it gets fixed because if you don't you are losing profits on a daily basis.

I agree. Regular maintenance is inavoidable, but in varying degrees, depending on how people use it. If it's used properly, then maintenance would be less. Repair is also part of the franchise, I believe, as long as the machine does not have any major damage.
