Are there any video game stores like ebgames or game stop that franchise their name? Does any one think that would be a good type of place to buy into?

There is a new franchise called Play N Trade that I have been investigating. The stores look great and I love the used/new model, but the new inventory seems very limited. Perhaps Play N Trade doesn't have same access to new inventory that GameStop has? Without hot new products, I know the trade-in side of the business suffers. Also, in my market at least, when a Play N Trade opened GameStop immediately became very promotional, going as far as to increase trade values by over 50%! Given that, I have been looking for markets without GameStops or EBs. That's proven to be a challenge though. Again, I think the business model looks very promising and the stores look great, I would just be very careful to avoid disturbing the GameStop "hornet's nest." Good luck!
