Starbucks IF it is an afternoon thing; NICE PLACE if it's for dinner.Coffe & snacks at Starbucks are better when you first go out....then neither feels obligated about an expensive dinner....

Umm. Have you guys known each other for awhile? If so then take her to a nice place. If not then dont spend too much on her. You can never read someone on a first date so you dont want to spend alot on it. Only if you were friends before. Then you know the person well. And you can take em to a nice place.

Nice places have to be earned...take her to Starbucks..that way if the date doesn't go well, you wont feel bad about wasting your money...When you're at dinner you can't just excuse yourself if the date isn't going well

Etiquette rules state that it is permissible to start off with a coffee date with a new person before moving to a meal with courses should one (or both) of you decide a quick escape is necessary.
