It's the only place in the UK you can get a strawberries and cream frappuccino so by default it is very reasonable. Yum yum. Also would like to add that it is probably much cheaper in the US than the UK because everything is damn expensive in the UK.
I tend to go to Cafe' Nero or even Costa sometimes rather than Starbucks because they have a tiny touch of the Italian bar. Especially Cafe' Nero that employs several Italian staff who are very friendly because coffe-bar running is in their blood. Because of this Cafe' Nero's customers are friendlier because the friendliness of the staff brushes on them. Many people also tell me that both serve better tasting coffee than Starbucks. The human touch is very important to me. This said all these coffee shops are far too expensive. I mean nearly five pounds for a soya latte and a piece of cake of some kind which is what I normally consume. That is sometimes the money that I spend for my dinner!
I think it is considering what it cost at dunkin donuts to get a coffee.
I don't think starbucks is solely expensive for its trade. I think all coffee shops are expensive so I guess thats just the trend. If you look at the cost of costa, nero and starbucks they are all nearly the same so its not just starbucks.Starbucks is ultra yumful though!
