I don't think starbucks is solely expensive for its trade. I think all coffee shops are expensive so I guess thats just the trend. If you look at the cost of costa, nero and starbucks they are all nearly the same so its not just starbucks.Starbucks is ultra yumful though!

I think it is a luxury item. I buy when I can and don't when I can't. I think it is worth it. It is pricey.

Expensive, yes. Considering a gallon of gas at the moment where I live is $2.59. A venti almond latte - my poison of choice is $4.53 (including the tax.)You do the math. Yummy? Oh yes! LOL and I'll still dish it out when I'm in the mood for a fix. But man it makes my wallet cry when I do
