Franchising is not something where you set the price -- the franchisor sets the price and the fees involved. Your only option is to select one that requires lower investment.
I think that you cannot start a franchise with low price. If you decide to go the franchising route, you need to have some money upfront.

I am sure without high price you can not start franchise. I know because my father has some reputed company's franchises. My father pay more money than others. The price was asked by company only.

Some franchises will offer a no deposit finance loan so you dont have to worry about that but you have to work out if the interest your paying back is worth it and if you will re-coop that money quick enough to make a decent living.

Maybe there are some franchising options that offer smaller investment. But don’t expect too much of it since it could be that it was cheaper because of lower revenues. Beginners may opt to start with cheaper franchises just to learn about the system.

But in my observation and little experience those franchises with minimal investment have lower ROI. If you want to make sure or if you want a higher probability of success, you really have to shed a lot. But I agree that for beginners, franchises with smaller investment are a good way to start. It is better than not starting at all.

Yes it is. For some people, investing on franchises with lower investment can help them gain the enough business experience that they need. They may not be really after the revenue but the experience after all. It could also be a good way to save for a bigger franchising investment.

There are some simple franchises out there that require minimum investment. Food carts are examples. It does not have a lot of equipments and it takes only one person to supervise the business so there is only one person to be trained.

The higher your franchise fee the hgiher your profit margin is. But then it all depends on how you manage your business and to how popular and in demand your product is on the market. Even with minimum franchise fees, you can expect bigger and faster return of investments if the product or service is in demand and has high sales.

The higher your franchise fee, the more inclined a person to manage his business well because he would not want to lose that huge sume he invested. Maybe the psychological factor has an effect on how well a business would be managed and thus to the ROI. Just a thought.

For starters, the investment in a franchise would be comparatively minimal compared to a full-blown startup, and intuitively this holds water as you eliminate fixed costs, licensing costs, a huge portion of marketing and brand-building costs. Choose a franchise size that suits your budget; do not attempt to get a bigger franchise and cut corners lest you sacrifice the quality of the product or service you offer.
