Well, the benefit of a computer shop franchise is that your franchiser will help you determine a good business plan, and will cover the costs of making sure you have top of the line equipment and technical assistance. They also provide various packages to help you make the size of the business commensurate to your target market. The only problem with computer shop franchises is that there are far too many start-ups to compete with in locations where students and yuppies go to pay to use computers.

Having one's own business is always good but if you want a good setup then going for franchise is a better option as you will get a good name as well as a perfect business plan to go with. They are well setup in the market so you don't have to spend much upon branding. Also you will get all the things required for it. You just have to look for a good place.
