Hot dog carts can be very profitable, but....
If you chose the wrong location for your cart, you'll be regretting every day you (or your employee) are standing outside.
To find a concept, just use your favorite search engine and enter "hot dog cart franchise" and you will have a list of many possible choices.
Have personally worked with Johnnies Doghouse, they have a solid and scalable concept. Their cart concept is more or less a mobile extension of the brick-n-mortar store. It is for off-site banquets, events and fairs.
Also keep in mind that hotdogs are very "personal" to people. A New York style, may not sell well in Alabama.
