CompuChild works with one of the nation's leading franchise development firms to ensure that our franchise program provides cutting-edge training, communication and support systems necessary to ensure our franchisees success.

You begin your business with 3-days of comprehensive training conducted in your territory (including our working with you to secure your initial clients). Your training includes a complete review of the operational policies and procedures important to your business, which are all detailed in our Confidential Operations and Policies Manual. You will also receive the forms and materials necessary to operate your business.

In addition, you are encouraged to interact with other Program Directors who will reinforce the most effective methods of securing clients, generating students, promoting your classes and other important aspects of your business.

As a CompuChild franchisee, you can be confident in your ability to operate your business, whether you have previous business experience or not. Although you will enjoy the benefits of owning your own business, you will not be operating your business alone. Frequently Asked Questions

How do you determine my territory? We work together to outline a territory for you using either zip codes or county lines. Your territory will include a minimum of 100 licensed childcare centers. We do offer a mini-territory in some areas that will include a minimum of 50 centers.

Do I obtain centers to teach in myself? During your three-day on-site training we will go out to centers, market and obtain some together. This experience will give you the ability to obtain more centers on your own confidently.

What hardware is used? We use Personal Computers, printers, laptops, scanners, digital cameras, various tracking devices and more! Your students will most likely be using a Personal Computer in school and the knowledge gained through CompuChild classes will give them a head start.

How many kids do you teach at a time? In accordance with developmentally appropriate practices for young children, we teach in small groups. Research supports that using the computer in small groups encourages young children to share leadership roles and initiate interactions more frequently, while using the computer alone or with a partner encourages children to work in isolation.

Is there a monthly royalty fee? We have an initial fixed monthly royalty fee of $150, when your gross revenues reach $40,000 you pay an additional 3% royalty.

What are the start-up costs? For the start-up cost of $14,900 you receive an exclusive territory with a minimum of 100 childcare centers, computer, printer, digital camera, supplies and 3 days of training. The start-up cost for a mini-territory is $9,900 and includes a minimum of 50 childcare centers, the same equipment and training.
